Transport

Public transport is set to be a big part of the Capital Plan, a ten-year plan for investment into infrastructure. In January this year Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said;

The government’s planned investment will support expanded bus services, additional carriages for Irish Rail, the metro project and the new Luas lines.

In total, the government is set to spend €2 billion on transport this year and €1.66 billion of this will be spent on land transport.

Plans include the construction of new school buildings with work taking place at the end of this year.

Healthcare
